Have a question about the DoubleHeader?  It is most likely answered below.  This page is full of the most common questions we are asked about the DoubleHeader.
Q: Have you lost your minds?
A: You decide.
Q: Does it go in both directions?
A: Yes, but not at the same time.
Q: Which driver is really driving?
A: Both.
Q: Do you have to lock the steering of the back wheels so that       one driver can drive the car?
A: Yes, this can be done, but all other cars are driven this way
Q: Which is the back?
A: There is no back.
Q: Which is the front?
A: Both.
Q: Which end has the motor and runs?
A: Both, and are normally run simultaneously
Q: What did you do with the drive shaft?
A: All four wheels are front wheel drive, so we don't have any rear wheel drive shafts.
Q: Where is the fuel tank?
A: The fuel tank is located beneath the car in the middle and feeds both engines.
Q: Is it street legal?
A: No, because we have no backs, we have no tail lights or stop lights.
Q: Which end is Bill and which end is Larry?
A: See pictures.
Q: Where did you get the idea for this car?
A: More than 30 years ago one of the DoubleHeader owners saw a car with two front ends on a rear-wheel drive chassis driven by a couple of clowns.  The thought of building a similar car stayed with him over the years.  When recent plans were being made to actually build the car, the idea to use two front-wheel drive cars came to mind.  As far as we know, the DoubleHeader is the only car with two fronts that drives and steers on both ends.
